Red Leather Sports and Tommy Hill Boxing, who brought ESPN back to North Carolina is primed to promote a night of excitement, intrigue, and significance as we will be raising awareness for The Urban Restoration. This riveting evening of economic awareness through professional boxing is all to benefit our households as well as our communities! The main event features John "Spidey" Williams who is a multiple NC Golden Glove winner and is looking to gain his ninth win as a young professional. Spidey, a published author and poet will allow his pen to rest... all while his FIST display him best. Saturday, May 19th is the time of TRIBULATION! This will be a fight for the ages!

Red Leather Sports' first signing of 2012 was Noel Echevarria. This young Puerto Rican born fighter is 2-0 as he was victorious in his first fight scoring a tremendous upset and got up off the seat of his pants to score a TKO in his second fight. It is our plan for Echevarria to fight 10 times this year as we take him from 0 to 100 in 5.3 seconds! "It matters not who we fight as long as we fight", announces Echevarria! But the truth of the matter is that Noel WILL be there... the question is will you? Don't miss the beginnings of a dream.

There will be a brief tribute to Dr. Arnold McKnight on this glorious night. Dr. McKnight was a native of Gastonia, NC and became the Chairman of the DC Boxing and Wrestling Commission. He is sorely missed but always remembered as he instilled education and hard work in those he mentored.
